Speaker Information

Thank you for your interest in presenting at LinuxAsia 2005!

LinuxAsia 2005 brings gurus, experts and top notch professionals together to present their ideas, discuss trends, technologies, solutions and analysis on Linux and OSS.

People interested in presenting at LinuxAsia can choose one of the following formats:

  1. Presentations (30 minutes)
  2. Panels (10 minutes)

Presentations focusing on technologies, real-life implementation case studies and trends & analysis on the following topics are encouraged:

  1. Linux kernel (Operating Systems)
  2. File systems (Operating Systems)
  3. Linux, BSD distributions (Distributions)
  4. Databases and Content Management Systems (Information Management)
  5. Application Servers (Server Applications)
  6. High Performance Computing (HPC)
  7. Grids computing
  8. Security
  9. Storage
  10. Embedded platforms and toolkits
  11. Localisation in Indian languages
  12. Desktops and applications
  13. Top OSS projects

Abstracts are required and should be about 300-400 words in length.

The final presentation has to be submitted in one of the following formats:

  1. PDF (A4 paper size)
  2. OpenOffice Impress format (.sxi)

Please note any talks submitted that cannot be redistributed freely by the conference will be rejected. LinuxAsia requires publication rights to accepted talks, including the publication of the audio proceedings as well as publication and reproduction rights to any video filmed during the presentations. These rights are non-exclusive. Copyright ownership is retained by the author. You may be asked to sign an agreement to these conditions upon arrival at the conference.
