The theme for this year's event is 'Linux Rocks' which emphasizes that Linux is an exciting and pervasive force in the emerging Asian market.

LinuxAsia 2005 positions Linux and open source as the solution set which can no longer be ignored by IT decision makers.

LinuxAsia 2005 aims to demonstrate that Linux and open source are ready to meet the full range of customer requirements for servers, desktops, and embedded devices as well as constitute a cost effective platform for projects and applications in government, corporates, education and individuals.
