Speaker Selection
Send us your topics for your presentation when you register as a speaker.
Topic Description
When sending us your proposal,
your session description should include the following
information.
- Opening sentence should describe the topic that the session will discuss.
- Second sentence should support the first sentence
and/or describe why the problem needs to be solved.
- Third sentence should list 3 to 5 specific goals
for those who attend this session.
- Fourth sentence should describe who should attend and why.
- Do not include proprietary or confidential material in your proposal.
- Please identify what kind of track is your proposed
topic suited for (i.e. Advanced-Level Conference,
Beginner-Level Conference, Technology Workshop,
Government, Enterprise, Entrepreneurs etc.)
Selection Criteria
Proposed topics are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Originality: Try to cover topics that provide a
unique perspective, viewpoint or way of doing something.
- Timeliness and Interest: Your talk should contain
new material not previously and recently presented at
other events.
- Educational Value: An objective presentation
that meets the educational needs of the audience is
ideal in enhancing the credibility of the speaker, the
speaker's employer and the event. Sales pitches are
not accepted.

Presentation Materials
All conference sessions and workshops
require that a copy of the reference materials used
during the presentation be provided by a specified
deadline. Please do not submit a proposal if you are not
able to meet the requirement of providing the reference
materials. It is mandatory to provide presentation
materials in order for the audience to have a copy. If
you are preparing a panel discussion, the moderator's
reference materials will include an outline of the topics
to be discussed.
Linux Asia Conferences, and Technology
Workshops require materials that supports, explains,
expands, clarifies and enhances the presentation.
