GUI development is a part of the Human Interface, and that also includes interactive sound and vision. Current innovative developments in these two areas would make the present GUI interfaces of keyboard and mouse completely obsolete. I can agree except for the GUI, which has not changed very much since its inception by XEROX back in the mid 70’s.
